Bouncy Bonzo’s Space Journey (Amiga AGA)
A downloadable Amiga game
BOUNCY BONZO’S SPACE JOURNEY
Bonzo is on a space journey to destroy evil enemies on three different planets. He has a useful ability: He can spin very fast, allowing him to effectively destroy his enemies. But he can't stop bouncing, so he has to rely on consideration and timing. Join Bonzo and help him complete his utterly important tasks!
FEATURES
- Old-school platforming action
- 3 unique worlds with 17 different stages + bosses and bonus levels

- High quality sound effects and 5 original soundtracks
- AI-free zone! All assets crafted by the human author
REQUIREMENTS
- AGA Amiga or capable emulator

GAMEPLAY
Your mission is to destroy all enemies on each stage. Getting used to Bonzo's bouncing cycle is crucial for mastering the game. To kill an enemy, use the fire button to execute Bonzo's 'spinning attack'. Bonzo can attack straight upwards, but not diagonally. Keeping the fire button pressed will force Bonzo down until released - which is useful for timing the attack. Attacks and jumps must be executed while Bonzo is close to the ground - not while in the air.
Pick up as many rewards as you can. Food will earn you score. Treasure will earn you both bonus and score. When bonus is high enough, you'll be granted energy and lives. When score is high enough, your potential maximum energy will grow. Bonus is lost if you die - score is permanent. Look out for the 'clock' reward. It'll make Bonzo fly for a short period of time, able to destroy enemies instantly - but be careful; when the time is up, he'll fall straight down.
Once you've completed an entire world, you can choose to enter a bonus level before proceeding to the next world. In the bonus levels, you can significantly increase your bonus and score and possibly gain lives. But you could also die and lose lives. The choice is yours. Bonus levels appears when advancing from one world to another - not when starting a new game.
Press P for pause and F9 to quit.
*ABOUT THE SAVE FEATURE:
After completing an entire world, the new world state is saved to the game folder (on a writable media). This does not save your whole game progress, but it allows you to start a new game from a world you've already visited. Currently, the CD32's NVRAM is not supported for saving. It might be in a future update.
ISSUES
The game is thoroughly tested, and should run on any Amiga meeting the requirements. However, it cannot be guaranteed to work on any configuration, and minor flaws cannot be ruled out. If your configuration meets the stated requirements, and the game still does not work as expected, please refer to the ReadMe file in the downloadable archives, which contains an email address for support.
